About the Pterodactyl

Technically not a dinosaur, Pterodactylus was a flying reptile, or pterosaur. "Pterodactyl" is often used as a catch-all term for these creatures. Pterodactylus had wings formed by a membrane of skin stretching from its long fourth finger to its ankles. It likely hunted fish and other small animals.
